Effingham, Ill. - The corporate campus at Mid America Motorworks will be home to the first annual C3 Fest May 19-21, 2011. The event is designed specifically for C3 Corvette owners, including several members of the C3 Vette Registry. The three-day event is jam-packed with activities for the C3 enthusiast.

Mid America Motorworks is an international aftermarket manufacturer and supplier of parts and accessories for Corvettes. With annual events such as Swapfest and Corvette Funfest, as well as attractions like the MY Garage Museum with a one-of-a-kind car collection, Mid America Motorworks has also become well known as a destination for automotive enthusiasts.

C3 Fest pairs the Corvette passion with unique local activities that celebrate the fun of the hobby. The weekend includes C3 related seminars, a Low Speed Auto Cross, a tour of downtown Effingham and a road trip to the rustic Moonshine Café for an unforgettable lunch. C3 Fest will also include a Show and Shine and an Awards Dinner. One special seminar has been organized featuring Chief Cheerleader Mike Yager giving the first-ever preview of his new book.

"I've never been light on words, so I'm leading a seminar to discuss my new book that will finally break the 'numbers matching' code in the Corvette world. I'm confident this will become a must-have book for all Corvette owners," Yager said.

While this event is open to all C3 owners, the C3 Vette Registry has also scheduled their 9th Annual member gathering during C3 Fest.C3VR is the best resource on the internet for C3 Vettes and has more than 657 members. Attendees of C3 Fest will have the opportunity to meet several C3VR members, attend a C3VR meeting and learn more about the group.
