Buy, Sell, or Swap at Mid America Motorworks Swapfest and Cruise-In. Open to all Classic, Muscle, and Sports Cars!

Effingham, IL (February 2010) – Mid America Motorworks will be hosting its fourteenth bi-annual Swapfest on Saturday, May 1st, 2010. In addition to the swap meet, Swapfest will also feature a Cruise-In and “Car for Sale Corral.” This year’s Swapfest will once again be held on the corporate grounds in Effingham, Illinois. Don’t miss out on this one of a kind experience where automotive enthusiasts have the chance to explore thousands of parts and accessories to buy, sell, or swap, as well as meet other collectors!

Mid America Motorworks Swapfest is quickly becoming a ‘must attend’ event. Finding great bargains is just one of the perks. “People really enjoy meeting and having fun with other automotive enthusiasts,” says Mike Yager, the company’s Chief Cheerleader. “This is an important and growing part of our hobby.”

Parts, accessories, and automotive memorabilia must be NOS or used whether they are Chevrolet, Ford, Hot Rods, Street Rods, or Muscle Cars, plus a special emphasis on Corvettes and Classic Volkswagens. This is to help keep the ‘real’ swap meet atmosphere. Swapfest opens at 8am and closes at 4pm CST on the corporate grounds located at 17082 North Route 45, Effingham, Illinois.

For those looking to sell their own items, a 20’ x 20’ exhibitor space is available for $20 each. Anyone wishing to participate in the “Car for Sale Corral,” registration is $20 per vehicle. Fees are nonrefundable. For your convenience, Swapfest will offer shipping if you do not want to transport items yourself. Breakfast and Lunch will also be available on the grounds.
