As Mid America Motorworks has evolved and undergone numerous physical expansions throughout 35 years in business, obviously, its departmental structure has grown to accommodate those changes. The company currently has over 140 people employed, most of whom originate from the Effingham area (a far cry from Mike's one-man show in the beginning, wouldn't you say?!).

If you are in the Effingham, IL area, you can reach Mid America Motorworks by taking Exit 162 (Effingham-Sigel Exit) from Interstates 57 & 70. Turn right onto Route 45 North. Go 2 miles and you'll see us on the right side of the road!

Our Sales Representatives pride themselves on friendly service and extensive product knowledge. Before you pick up that telephone to place an order, review these simple guidelines first to make the most of your ordering experience:
- Prepare to give your Sales Representative your customer identification number, located on the address label of your catalog.
- Your knowledge of basic order information such as size, color, and part number is helpful, along with your Corvette's stats like year, transmission type, body style and interior/exterior colors.
- Phone lines are least congested on Thursdays, Fridays and outside the lunch hour. Place orders between those hours if you're in a rush.
- Finally, anytime you use a credit card, have the number and expiration date readily available.
Using these tips to your advantage will speed up the order process, and eliminate the chance of miscommunication between you and your Sales Representative.

We've found the most efficient method of handling these orders is via fax, and now through this site, we're incorporating E-mail, too!
Our procedure for international ordering is as simple as 1-2-3:
- Place your order or catalog request by faxing: (217) 540-4425, USA Or Emailing Or use our On Line Ordering System by clicking the On Line Order button on the home page!
- We'll then confirm back to you by fax or E-mail (depending on your preferred mode of communication) detailed pricing information, product availability and shipping charges.
- You'll then fax or e-mail us your response, setting the wheels in motion for the most proficient delivery possible.
Because our international customers are responsible for payment of import duties and taxes, to keep costs down, we often hold orders until all merchandise can be packaged together. This procedure is particularly effective for large orders. So, remember that if you always include your phone number, fax number and e-mail address, your order will move along just as smoothly as those on our domestic side!

Check (mail orders): In U.S. funds drawn on a U.S. bank, made payable to Mid America Motorworks. Allow extra time for clearance before order processing.
Money Order or Cashier's Check (mail orders): In U.S. funds drawn on a U.S. bank, made payable to Mid America Motorworks.
C.O.D. (phone orders or mail orders): Add $8.50 per order, available only in the contiguous U.S. These orders are cash only on delivery, available solely to in-stock merchandise on orders from $25.00 to $100.00. Sorry, COD is not accepted for orders with personalized items, freight shipped items, items shipped directly from the manufacturer, or Express Service.
Credit Card (all orders): Make sure to include the number, expiration date, signature and address of the card holder if it's different from the mailing address. Mid America accepts American Express, VISA, Mastercard, Discover/Novus, Diner's Club, and Carte Blanche.
Check By Phone (phone orders): In U.S. Funds drawn to a U.S. bank. Checks are processed through our 3rd party check guarantee provider. Extra $1.00 for processing fee.
